The poor site design, coupled with meaningless sales phrases like "#1 Ranking on Google and Yahoo" (but for what keywords, we don't know!) made us feel quite uneasy, as if we were about to be taken for a ride. And sure enough we were! According to the sales page, iPod Comet is "not for everyone" and urges you to complete a little questionnaire at the bottom of the main page to see if it's right for you! But it doesn't matter how you fill this questionnaire out, it will always come back as saying that it's just the perfect solution for you! So you haven't even left the sales page and the dirty tricks have begun. Inside the members' area you find the same amateurish design you found on the sales page, coupled with a poorly designed website structure. The P2P managers are fairly popular well known ones, offering networks with millions of downloads available, but certainly no more than are offered by the other sites on this list. Despite being a popular site with many people searching for it on Google and Yahoo each day, and despite being highly recommended by some review sites, we have to say that My iPod Downloads is a complete joke and a total waste of time and money. The sales page looks professionally designed and very flashy, but once you've paid your money and get inside, it's a totally different story. The member's area is cheaply designed with broken links and features that simply don't work. The movies available for download are organised by top 10 downloaded, top 10 added and top 10 best rated. However, these movies are as old as the hills and are totally unheard of! Here are the top 3 downloaded movies according to this site - "Call Me Trinity", "Mr Scarface", and "Blood Tide". Ever heard of any of those? Didn't think so! There are many different movie categories to choose from, but no matter which category you click, the movies list stays the same, with the same 30 movies to choose from. There is a search option, but no matter which movie you search for, we can pretty much guarantee you won't find it! The music download section fares little better and the "Bonus Software" section just gives you more links to the music download software that's available in the music download section! We did email the webmasters of MyiPodownloads.com to inform them of their broken links, but never got a response. And that was several months ago, and still the links are broken! So they obviously don't care. It's very little wonder then that MyiPodownloads.com has a staggeringly high refund rate, which, according to our records, is over 60%! That's more than 60% of customers asking for their money back! So our advice? Don't bother joining this site - it will probably go out of business soon!
