Our Review:

TV Central has recently moved from its old home at TVCentral.com to its new and snappier home at TV.org. TV.org has moved up and down and then back up our list of top 10 TV show download sites over the past 4 years with every new review we've given it! Now updated to its current look and with an updated members' area, TV.org is now back in 2nd place in our list and comes highly recommended by us at movies-games-and-music.com.

TV.org is one of the most popular sites on the internet for downloading TV shows, and like most other sites we've reviewed, it gives you access to a P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing community, allowing you to download TV shows, movies, music, games and more from any of the 240 million users' computers around the world. With a larger network of users, this site provides almost unmatched content and unmatched choice in terms of the TV shows available for download, and you can also download a very good proportion of movies, music and games too. We were able to find many of the TV series we searched for, including all the newly released TV shows on TV, including many episodes that haven't even been aired yet! This is an excellent-quality site with an easy to use interface and loads of great additional free software, making it superb value for money.

"Excellent site

Really easy to use and has lots of brand new TV shows on it. There are lots of old and new TV shows that I want to keep for my collection and now I can. I leave it downloading a few episodes every night and burn them to DVD in the morning with the software supplied. Easy!"

"Lots of TV shows to choose from

I'm very pleased with TV.org. It has lots of new and old TV shows to choose from and the downloads are pretty fast. It's quite easy to use and the extra free software that comes with it is really good. I don't always find all the episodes I want straight away though. But if you do the search again on a different day you often get different results - I guess that's cos it's a peer-to-peer site. Anyway, if you do the same search over a few days then you should eventually find all the episodes you want to build up a complete series. So far I've downloaded some popular UK sitcoms, including Fawlty Towers, Blackadder 2, 3 and 4, Red Dwarf (series 4, 5 and 6) and Yes Minister. I now also have most of South Park too! The quality is usually pretty good - DVD quality maybe. Sometimes it's not quite so good though and I have to download the episode again."

"Really good buy

Hi, I'd just like to say what a great buy TVCentral.org is. I've found most of the TV shows I've searched for online using the software you get from the members' area here. I've been downloading episodes of Star Trek Enterprise and Quantum Leap and I nearly have them all now! (I'm a big Scott Bakula fan!!) I've also just started downloading episodes of Lost and the first two series of 24, which I missed when they were on TV."
